2009 Officer Installation Dinner

The Lions Club set aside the usual luncheon meeting and gathered during the evening hours to celebrate another year, thank our Officers for their service, and install the next Board for the 2009-10 year. On June 18th the members gathered at the Ukiah Garden Cafe for cocktails, dinner and a brief ceremony.

The new Board of Directors and Officers for 2009 are pictured above, from left to right: Ron, Rod, Beau, Bob, Tom, Bob, Bob, Al, Mike and Dan.

In addition to installing the new Board and Officers, the Club both congratulated and thanked two Lions in particular: On the left, Lion Rick receives the President's Award and on the Right, Beau receives the Lion of the Year Award.

Rick was the club's tail-twister, led a team during the concessions season, provided much needed support at Pancake Breakfast and a lot more. Lion Beau has attended virtually every event, fundraiser and concession where we needed him, but also brought many new Lions into the club during his year as Membership Chair.
